Effective August 10th, 2026
Overview
We updated our Master Services Agreement (MSA) to better reflect how Cerbo operates today, including AI-enabled features such as AI Scribe.
This summary is provided for convenience only. It is not a complete description of the changes and does not modify, amend, or create any rights under the MSA. If anything in this summary differs from the MSA, the MSA governs. Please refer to the full agreement for the controlling terms.
Snoozing the Reminder
If you are not ready to sign immediately, you may snooze the reminder up to three times. Each snooze will delay the prompt for 48 hours, after which you will be presented with the popup again and given the option to snooze or acknowledge.
Once you have used all three available snoozes, you will be required to sign the agreement the next time the popup appears.
Details
Clearer language throughout
We've updated wording across the agreement to more clearly describe the services we provide. This is a clarity update, not a change in substance.
Aggregated data, clarified, not changed
We've clarified our rights around aggregated data. This reflects how it has always worked; nothing about our actual practices has changed.
New terms for AI-enabled features
We've added terms specific to AI-powered features, including AI Scribe and other AI use cases, to reflect how these tools are used.
Clearer customer responsibilities
The MSA is clearer about your responsibilities around compliance, staff training, and controlling who on your team has access to your account.
Expanded indemnification
If a claim arises from the way you or your workforce use Cerbo, you're responsible for covering related costs, including attorneys' fees. This is broader than before, particularly for AI-related features and consent issues.
Lawful use is your responsibility
You're responsible for using Cerbo in compliance with applicable law; Cerbo doesn't guarantee that your use will meet legal requirements. This applies generally, and specifically to consent and recording laws under the AI Scribe addendum.
Stronger confidentiality protections
Confidentiality requirements are stricter: information must be kept in strict confidence, not disclosed, and any misuse must be reported to us promptly.
Access-control requirements
Each user on your team needs a unique login; your staff must be trained on the platform, and third parties can't access your account without our prior written agreement.
More billing options for you
The MSA now supports billing arrangements beyond monthly, so we can offer annual billing to customers who prefer it. Your current billing stays as it is unless you ask us to change it.
New: AI Scribe Addendum
We've added a new addendum (Addendum A) covering the terms specific to the AI Scribe product.
