Overview
Cerbo does not bill insurance directly. Patient insurance information on file is used to automatically populate HCFA-1500 forms and insurance invoices when these are generated from the patient's records for the patient to submit for reimbursement, as well as transmitted to labs.

Details
You may choose to enter a patient's insurance information in the Insurance tab of the Patient Information block. You can enter primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary insurance plans, designate whether the primary insurance account holder is the patient, a spouse, or a guardian, and add a financial guarantor (other than the patient) who can be billed if insurance refuses payment, as well as add notes.
