Why do I keep having to reset my password?

Overview

If you're constantly prompted to reset your password instead of staying logged in, there's likely an underlying issue preventing normal account access. Learn what causes this problem and how to fix it.

If you are finding that you have to reset your password every time you try to log in to your Patient Portal account, you may be entering the wrong information in the username field. Your username may be the email address on file with your provider. Or, if you are trying the email address and that is not working, you can use the Forgot Username link on the login page to get an email reminder of your username.

If you've set your browser to automatically remember your login information, you may be having this problem because the browser is remembering and automatically entering the wrong information. If you manually enter the correct username and click "Log In!", the browser should ask whether you want it to remember the new information.
