Mass Messaging and Emailing

Cerbo does not support sending bulk messages, mass emails, email blasts, or mass text messages directly from Cerbo through email, secure message, or SMS. If you need to contact many patients at once, you can use one of the options below to export the information you need or use a supported third-party platform.

Advanced Patient Search for mass messaging outside of Cerbo

You can use the Advanced Patient Search to build a patient list and then export the contact details you need for a third-party messaging tool.

• Use Advanced Patient Search to filter for the patients you want to contact.
• When your results are ready, choose Output List of Emails if you want to export email addresses.
• Copy and paste the exported email list into your email marketing platform, or upload it if the platform allows imports.
• If you need phone numbers for SMS messaging, choose Export Spreadsheet.
• Open the spreadsheet and remove any information you do not need before uploading it to your third-party SMS platform.
• Review the exported list carefully before sending any message to make sure it includes the correct patients and contact details.

Common third-party tools for mass email campaigns include Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and ActiveCampaign. These platforms can help you send newsletters, announcements, and automated campaigns outside of Cerbo.

Recommended option: ActiveCampaign integration

Cerbo integrates with ActiveCampaign to sync information directly to that platform. If you need mass messaging or automated messaging, ActiveCampaign is the recommended native integration option. See Active Campaign - About the Integration.

Post a Notice on the Patient Portal

You can also post a notice on the patient portal for all patients to see when they visit the portal. See Add a Notice or Away Message to the Patient Portal. You can choose which portal pages show the notice, or display it on all pages. Keep in mind that this is a passive notice, so patients will not receive a notification telling them to check the portal.
